We, JHL Communication Technology GmbH (JHLCT), are the operator of this website.  The following information is intended to give you a simple overview of which personal data is collected, stored and processed when you access this website and what happens to this data afterwards.  Personal data is all information that can be used to identify you personally.  As the operator of this website, we take the protection of your personal data very seriously.  We treat all personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations on the basis of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) with effect from May 25, 2018.

Purpose of collection of personal data 

In principle, it is possible to visit and use our website without providing personal data.  A collection, storage or processing of personal data takes place, as far as possible, always on a voluntary basis and exclusively for the exercise of our own business purposes, i.e. usually in order to provide or provide the services you have requested.

 

Collection and storage of data 

When you access our website, the browser on the device you are using automatically sends information to the server on which our website is hosted.  This information is temporarily stored in a so-called server log file.  The following information is recorded without your involvement and stored until it is automatically deleted: 

  • Browser type and browser version 

  • Operating system of your device and the name of your access provider 

  • Website from which access takes place, referrer URL 

  • Host name of the accessing computer 

  • Date and time of the server request 

  • IP address used (if applicable: in anonymous form) 

  • Name and URL of the file accessed 

Server log files are collected when ever website is accessed, so this is not a special function of our website.  

According to the legal basis from Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR, the data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interests for the following purposes:  

  • Ensuring a good connection to the website 

  • Ensuring convenient use of our website 

  • Evaluation of system security and stability 

  • for the functional and technical optimization of the website 

  • for statistical and administrative purposes. 

The information generated is not merged with other data sources.  However, we reserve the right to check the server log files retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.  

 

Transfer of data  

Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.  

Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties if  

  • According to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR you have given your express consent to this, or  

  • according to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. c GDPR the case occurs that there is a legal obligation for the disclosure, or  

  • this in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b GDPR is legally permissible and required for the processing of contractual relationships with you, or  

  • according to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR, the disclosure is necessary to exercise, assert or defend legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in not disclosing your data.  

 

Safe handling of personal data 

Personal data is only handled within the permitted framework of the GDPR.  We impose great importance to all necessary data protection and organizational security measures to adequately protect personal data from unauthorized access and misuse.  For this reason, we use SSL encryption to protect confidential content that you send to our website operator during transmission. You can recognize the encrypted connection by changing the address line of the browser from “http: //” to “https: //” and by a lock symbol in your browser line.  

 

Cookies 

So-called cookies are sometimes used for a more user-friendly, more effective and safer design of our offer on the website.  These are not viruses and will not damage your computer.  Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device.  Only so-called "session cookies" are used on our website.  This type of cookie is only saved for the duration of the website visit.  The cookies are deleted again by closing the browser. 

You have the option of taking various protective measures in your browser settings.  Among other things, you can set that you are informed when a website collects cookies, only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies or activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close the browser.  Please note that if you deactivate cookies, the functionality of websites may be restricted.  

 

How long will the data be stored 

When storing data, we pay attention to the principle of data avoidance and data economy. Therefore, your personal data will only be stored until the underlying purpose (contract fulfillment or contract initiation) or the respective statutory retention period (e.g. commercial and tax retention periods) no longer exist. If the respective purpose no longer exists and / or there are no legal retention periods and / or there is no longer any legitimate interest on our part in further storage, the data will be routinely deleted. 

 

Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection 

You have the right: 

  • to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR. In particular, you can provide information about processing purposes, the categories of personal data and the recipients (to whom your data has been or will be disclosed), the planned storage period, the existence of a right to correction, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of appeal, The origin of your data, if we have not collected them, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if necessary, meaningful information on their details; 

  • to request the immediate correction of incorrect personal data or the completion of your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR; 

  • to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, insofar as the processing of your personal data to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfill a legal obligation and / or for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defense of legal claims is necessary; 

  • to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR if you dispute the correctness of the data, the processing is unlawful, but you refuse to delete it and we no longer need the data, but you need them to assert or exercise them or if you need to defend legal claims or you have objected to processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR; 

  • to receive your personal data provided to us in a structured, customary and machine-readable format in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR or to request the transfer to another person responsible; 

  • to revoke your consent given to us at any time in accordance with Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR. As a result, we are no longer allowed to continue the data processing based on this consent from this point in time for the future 

  • to complain to a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR. Normally, you can contact the supervisory authority of your current place of residence or work or our office. 

 

Right to object 

If your personal data is based on legitimate interests according to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR are processed, you are entitled to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR.  The prerequisite is that there are reasons for this which arise from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct mail.

This data protection declaration corresponds to the legal situation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of May 25, 2018 and is dated May 2018. 

In order for this data protection declaration to comply with legal requirements and to implement changes to our services (in particular further development of our website and / or offers of services via this), we reserve the right to make changes and adjustments to the data protection declaration.
